You can set up a commission structure in Fincon Accounting based on three aspects namely:
- The percentage of gross profit
- Amount per unit
- Percentage of turnover
These commission structures are set up per item.
Setting up the commission structures

Percentage of gross profit
Navigate to the correct window
- Navigate to Inventory / Stock Maintenance.
Call up the appropriate item
- Enter (or select) the appropriate item number in the Item Number text box.
Set up the commission
- Enter 1 in the Comms Type text box.
- Enter the percentage of commission in the Commission text box.
Save the changes
- Click the Accept button.
Amount per unit
Navigate to the correct window
- Navigate to Inventory / Stock Maintenance.
Call up the appropriate item
- Enter (or select) the appropriate item number in the Item Number text box.
Set up the commission
- Enter 2 in the Comms Type text box.
- Enter the amount of commission in the Commission text box.
Save the changes
- Click the Accept button.
Percentage of turnover
Navigate to the correct window
- Navigate to Inventory / Stock Maintenance.
Call up the appropriate item
- Enter (or select) the appropriate item number in the Item Number text box.
Set up the commission
- Enter 3 in the Comms Type text box.
- Enter the percentage of commission in the Commission text box.
Save the changes
- Click the Accept button.
