Allocating blank references

The Allocating Blank References function in Fincon Accounting can be used to allocate entries to credit or debit amounts, with this function you have more control than with the Account Reconciliation function in Fincon Accounting.

Navigate to the correct window

  1. Navigate to Debtors / Allocate Blank references.

Enter the customer account

  1. Enter (or select) the appropriate customer account number in the Account Number text box.
  2. Press the Enter button on your keyboard.

Enter the reference

  1. Enter the appropriate reference in the INVNO column.
  2. Repeat for relevant entries.

You can enter any reference, it won't be checked against an entry, the system also does not check whether the entry is a debit or credit amount.

Save the allocation

  1. Click the Accept button.
