Fincon Accounting allows the activation of 36 tills.
Each till can use its own designated control accounts for cash on hand, cash sales, payouts, credit cards or bank accounts. These specific accounts need to be created in the System/Default Accounts settings and entered for each till.
If however, the default accounts need to be used, nothing needs to be entered in the relevant columns.

Navigate to the correct window
- Navigate to Debtors / Point of Sale / Activate Tills.
Set up the till
- Enter Y in the ACTIVE column for the relevant till.
- Enter Y in the SCANNER column if you do NOT want the till to be able to scan invoices, or leave it as N to keep this function.
- Enter Y in the RECEIPTS column if you do NOT want the till to be able to print receipts, or leave it as N to keep this function.
- Enter (or select) the appropriate username of the user who is allowed to use this till in the USER column.
- Enter the till's currency code in the CUR column.
- Enter the appropriate control accounts in the relevant columns if required or leave blank to use default accounts.
Activate the till
- Click the Accept button.
- Check that the following message box has appeared: The till info has been updated successfully.
- Click the OK button.
