RMA credit notes

An RMA needs to have been completed before a credit note can be done for it.

Watch this video to see how to create an RMA credit note or follow the steps below it.

Navigate to the correct window

  1. Navigate to RMA's / RMA Credit Note.

Call up the appropriate RMA

  1. Enter (or select) the appropriate RMA number in the RMA Number text box.

Enter the credit note details

  1. Enter the credit note date in the Date text box.
  2. Enter the destination location in the Location text box or leave it blank for the default location.
  3. Enter the customer's price type classification in the Price Type text box.
  4. Enter the appropriate invoice number in the Invoice No text box, if required.

Make any required changes

  1. Make any required changes to the items on the credit note.
Any field with black text can be edited, depending on how you have set your default text in the Customize window.

Generate the credit note

  1. Click the Accept button.
  2. Change the information on the Enter Message window if required and click the Accept button.
  3. Specify the print options and click the OK button, or click the Cancel button to close the window without printing.
