Creating an assembly

Assemblies are used to kit machines for instance.

The first step is to create the sales order, if you need to see how to create a sales order follow this link.

Make sure to add all the components needed for the final product. Only items with serial numbers can be used.

Navigate to the correct window

  1. Navigate to Workshop / Assemblies / Assemblies on Order.

Call up the sales order

Enter (or select) the appropriate sales order number in the Order Number text box.

Enter the items

The items you add here need to have been assigned to the sales order first.
  1. Click on the ASSEMBLY column and press Insert on your keyboard.
  2. Enter the technician assigned to the item in the Technician text box.
  3. Enter a comment in the Comment text box, if required.
  4. Click the Allocate button.
  5. Enter the serial number in the Current Serial Number text box.
  6. Click the Close button.
  7. Repeat for all items.
  8. Click the Close button.
You can edit an assembly or clear an assembly by pressing the Enter button or Delete button on your keyboard whilst selecting an item.
